Marto 16th Century Suit of Armour

A full size suit of armour, sculpted after armour found in the Royal Armoury in Madrid Spain, dating back to the 16th century during the time of Charles I of Spain and Charles V of Germany.

Meticulously handcrafted using materials similar to the original historical pieces, iron and steel hand moulded and engraved, with brocades imitating textiles and patterns of the period. LIMITED PRODUCTION - because this is completely made by hand the armourer, only produces approx. 30 pieces per year.

Each piece is supplied with a solid 22" x 22" wood base and the metal is finished with an 'old patina' and rust protection that needs to be maintained.
