Charles V was Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire from 1519 and as Charles I of Spain, of the Spanish realms from 1516 until his abdication in 1556.
Double-edged Toledo steel blade with elaborate guard, featuring ornate tips on the quillions and a classic brown suede handle with a decorative wire-wrap. The pommel is a double-outward curving fin that flattens out as it expands. Both pommel and guard are cast-metal, with a silver, mirror polish finish.
