This famous two handed battle sword features a double edged blade, crafted out of 440 Toledo Stainless Steel.
The hilt extends down the blade and is adorned with lions in gold, silver ornaments and a hardwood wood handle.
The long tapered wood handgrip is decorated with gold Fleur De Lys and silver unicorns.
The pommel features two beasts, a lion and single horned unicorn entwined, piercing each other in battle.
King James VI of Scotland effectively united Scotland and England beneath one rule. The symbolism on the sword of a Scottish unicorn and the English lion came to symbolize reconciliation and unity of rule.
