Inspired by the hunting line series made by Kershaw many years back, eye-catching piece of polished Buffalo Horn with a classic finger grooved handle, functional design with excellent craftmanship throughout. Hollow ground blade mirror polished with distal tapered full tang construction, reflecting Neill's distinguished craftsmanship. (Minor hurt indent on handle, back scale towards the rear of the handle.)

A member of the Knifemakers' Guild Of Southern Africa since 29th of October 2010.

'In 2008 I started studying engineering in South Africa and while studying I had more time to focus on knife making and was accepted as a member of the Knifemaker's Guild of South Africa in the October of 2010. I first exhibited my knives at the 20th annual Bloemfontein knife show on 20 November 2010 and was awarded with two certificates of excellence.' 'I am inspired by knife makers such as Rob Brown and the late R.W Loveless and strive to make functional and collector's knives to match their excellence. My steel of preference is Bohler N690, RWL34 and CPM-154 and strive to use natural and synthetic materials for knives of my own design, as well as replicas. Sheath making is as important to me as making the knife. The knife and sheath are made to complement each other.'

Neill and his family relocated to Mutchilba in Queensland, Australia in 2019, working full-time in agriculture as well as continuing his passion part-time on the weekends.

The etched Schutte knife logo was inspired by his surname from medieval English, it means archery or in German, a bowman.
