A large, sturdy original from distinguished, creative craftsman Peter Steyn, a unique collector's item or large functional drop point hunter, with a wide, comfortable contoured grip featuring an eye catching jigsaw bolster. The ceramic washed blade has Peter's renowned one sided convex grind - concave on one side and convex on the other. This unique grind, inspired by Japanese knives, features a hollow grind on the left and a convex grind on the right, ensuring an excellent, easy to maintain edge which is only sharpened on the left side. Designed as a dependable tool for field and outdoor work, excellent balance and finish.

'Peter has always had a passion for creativity and appreciation of handcrafted items which eventually led him to the Knife Making Industry, producing his first knife in 2005. By 2006 he was confident enough to display his work and the Knife Makers Guild of Southern Africa accepted him in that July. After being accepted into the knifemaker guild, Peter Steyn began to set himself apart from the average maker with creative ideas that can only be described as ingenious. Internationally known as the creator of the 'COVEX' grind and 'Crator' finish on his blades, Peter is continually thinking of new ways to make knives unique and life fun!'
